The mission of Baltimore Reads is to improve the quality of life for educationally disadvantaged adults, children, and families. As a local leader in the development, implementation and support of results-based learning services, Baltimore Reads emphasizes strong reading, basic and life skill proficiencies essential for continuous learning, employment, and self-sufficiency. It strengthens and expands service delivery through local and national collaborations and through the development of a strong research and consulting capability.
